Close other applications
Running applications in the background that consumes a significant chunk of your device’s resources, and can cause a noticeable lag in the game over a period of time.

Clear the DomiNations app cache
DomiNations stores temporary files so they don’t have to be downloaded each and every time the game is loaded. Sometimes, these temporary files are the culprit for issues affecting the game.

Follow these steps to clear the cache:
  1. Head to the Settings menu.
  2. Tap Apps (or Applications, depending on your device) in the menu.
  3. Select DomiNations.
  4. Tap Clear Cache.

Make sure you are connected to a stable internet connection
DomiNations is a mobile game that requires a steady internet connection in order to play. Loss of connection may occur for a number of reasons that exist beyond our control. Make sure that you on a stable WiFi connection. Switching connection types from WiFi to cellular, or vice versa may also help. If the problem persists, you may want to follow up with your internet provider to explore more reliable and faster connection options.

Free up your device’s storage
Most devices perform poorly once the storage is almost at 100% utilization. By uninstalling and deleting files that are no longer needed, you may improve how DomiNations performs.

System update(s) are released on a regular basis to ensure that devices run smoothly.

Follow these steps to check or update your device’s software:
  1. Head to the Settings menu.
  2. Tap System > About > System Update

Uninstall and Reinstall DomiNations
As a last resort, reinstalling the game ensures that you are running the latest version of the game, and possibly fixes corrupted files in your game client. You will not lose your game progress as long as your account is linked to Google Play.
