When a user requests for their account and associated data to be deleted (instructions on how to do so are here) the following happens:

For players located in countries affected by General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

At the completion of the account and associated data deletion request process, the following user data will be affected:

  • All personal identifiable information will be deleted
  • DomiNations account data is unlinked from all associated devices, leaving a non-playable base behind
  • VIP Newsletter eligibility is deleted (if applicable)
  • Advertising Identifiers in all marketing databases are deleted

The following data has a different retention process and will be deleted as follows:

  • System backups and replay data will be deleted after 90 days of creation

For all other players:

At the completion of the account and associated data deletion request process, the following user data will be deleted:

  • All personal identifiable information will be deleted
  • DomiNations account data is unlinked from all associated devices, leaving a non-playable base behind
  • VIP Newsletter eligibility is deleted (if applicable)
